GoNation Powers The Crazies Awards

FARMINGTON, CONN. - The Connecticut Restaurant Association (CRA) announced today the return of the CRAzies Awards Gala presented by Sysco, an annual event recognizing the exceptional ability and talent of Connecticut’s restaurant and foodservice community. After taking a one-year hiatus in 2020 due to the pandemic, the 2021 gala will take place on Monday, December 6 at Foxwoods Resort Casino. The CRAzies is the only statewide, annual awards gala that celebrates the best of Connecticut’s restaurant and foodservice industries.

“We are extremely excited to bring back the CRAzies, especially at a time when Connecticut’s local restaurant industry has been through so much, and worked so hard, over these past 18 months,” said Connecticut Restaurant Association Executive Director Scott Dolch. “Our awards gala will not only recognize the best-of-the-best in multiple categories, but more importantly it will give us a chance to celebrate our amazing industry. It also gives the public a chance to participate by nominating their favorite people and places from Connecticut’s restaurant industry.”

The CRAzies gives everyone a chance to participate in the voting process. Members of the general public can click here to submit their favorite Chef, Bartender, Server, Restaurant and more. In addition, the association will bring together a panel of more than 25 of the top food journalist and media representatives to help finalize the list of nominees, which will be announced in early October.

Each year the CRAzies continues to improve on the previous year, and the CRA will be looking to add new experiences for their guests in 2021. The association will once again partner with GoNation, a leading Connecticut marketing TECH company, to help expand the reach of the event and continue to make it one of the best Food Industry Awards Galas in the country.
